Pub Jobs in the United Kingdom
Like burgers and fries, gin and tonic, or avocado and toast, the UK and pubs just go together, like a match made in heaven.
Whether it’s London, Bristol, Brighton, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle or any UK city; the best pubs scatter the streets and you’re only ever a minute away from a cold drink, or pint, as the locals will say. True fact: in Brighton, the UK’s famous, quirky seaside town, there are more pubs than days of the year!
Outside of the cities, country pubs are scattered in some of the most beautiful spots you could imagine. Rolling green fields, pristine lakes and mountains with gorgeous views (yes, we’re still talking about the UK!) surround these pubs, where you’ll be spoilt for choice with weekend activities.
Regardless of where you choose in the UK, you’re only ever a short train ride away from iconic landmarks. You could be punting in Cambridge, at a festival in London or trying haggis in Edinburgh, all in the one weekend. With The UK Pub Co. you can experience all of this.
Full of history, from Shakespeare to the Royals, the UK has so much to offer. To make your journey abroad easier we have some awesome pub opportunities in England, Scotland and Wales.

You will love exploring the UK
There is so much to see and do all over the United Kingdom. Luckily, taking a Working Holiday with The UK Pub Co. provides you with the opportunity to experience all the UK has to offer during your job placement - which can be as long as you like!
Explore the cities – the small proximity of the UK means you can easily travel between cities on the train. For example, it’s only 2 hours from London to Manchester. Walking around these cities, talking to the locals and learning what makes them unique is the best way to discover the UK.
Bottomless brunch – The Brits like to start drinking early, and if you can keep up, there are some really unique bottomless brunch events. Themed events might include Drag, 90’s, dress-up or even a West End Musical Brunch.
Country hikes – The British countryside is picture perfect and they have many marked walking tracks for hiking. We recommend exploring the South Downs, the Lake District, the Peak District and for the more adventurous, Mount Snowdon!
Get in the water – We don’t often think that the UK is a place for swimming or sailing, but in the summer months you can enjoy stunning city pools, a coastline of unique beaches from Cornwall through to Essex, as well as untouched rivers and creeks for paddle boarding, swimming, kayaking and picnics.
Discover Europe! OK, so this isn’t in the UK, however you’re less than an hour flight from Amsterdam and Paris, and less than two hours from Barcelona, Berlin, and even Ibiza! Did someone say cocktails by the pool?
Places in the UK we think are worth a visit
There’s so much to do and see in the UK outside of the famous capital, London.
Manchester
Think indie - graffiti lined streets, hidden bars and the home of Oasis. Manchester is modern with a vibrant city centre - it’s also a hub for media, sports and entertainment.
Brighton
Weird and wonderful - this iconic seaside town is famous for its’ pier with arcades, seafront bars and eclectic shops that make up ‘The Laines’. Brighton’s Pride festival is one of the biggest in the UK.
Edinburgh
Filled with history - cobble stoned streets, a hilltop castle and proud locals. Haggis and whisky goes hand-in-hand with a visit to Edinburgh and we suggest timing your visit to check out the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Cardiff
The capital of Wales, Cardiff is known as a party town and showcases a stunning bay with marina, bars and restaurants. Great for a cheeky weekend away with lots of events.
